What to do right now

Pick your situation for a 10-minute, same-day and evidence checklist.

If you are in danger right now, close this page and call 112. This page is general guidance, not legal advice.
If you were scammed in a second-hand trade

The sooner you act after paying, the more options you have. Do these three things in order.

If your wages or severance have not been paid

You can report unpaid wages to the Ministry of Employment and Labor. Gather evidence first, then call 1350.

If floor noise from neighbors is wearing you down

Confronting the neighbor directly can escalate things. Build a record and use official channels step by step.

If your rental deposit is not being returned

Moving out before you get the deposit back can weaken your rights. Check these first.

If a used car or item turns out to be defective

Before repairing or using it further, record the defect and tell the seller in writing.

If you received threatening messages

Safety comes first. If you feel in danger right now, call 112 (Korea emergency police).
